This dramatic Spring Show will feature a selection of the work of some of Hoopers Gallery’s best loved photographers. It is open to the public from 9 to 19 April, 2009.
The exhibition will range from the stunning landscapes of Joe Cornish and icescapes of Camille Seaman, to the iconic and unusual ballet images taken by Colin Jones; from the delicate beauty of John Blakemore’s tulip studies to the striking portraits and colourful architectural details captured by Graham Brandon. Also featured will be the humorous and surreal work of Gilbert Garcin and some exceptional portraits by John Swannell. In addition, some of London’s best-known views are re-created in the fantastical and vibrant images of Ebru Erulku and Lisa Tomasetti will exhibit an example of her portraits which reference Old Masters but feature indigenous women and children from different cultures. This unique combination of originality and talent will ensure that every visitor leaves this exhibition enriched.
